ABC's hit fairy tale drama TV series "Once Upon A Time" ended its fifth season with Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Zelena (Rebecca Mader) being reconciled. However, for Parilla herself, she thinks that the truce could only be temporary given the complexity of things between them. If it can be remembered, Zelena turned out to be the mother of Robin's (Sean Maguire) baby. For Parilla, both Zelena and Regina will soon realize that the rekindling fire has already extinguished.
Regina might once again feel the bitterness towards her sister knowing how things worked between her and Robin. "Will she end up growing resentful that she can't have children, but yet her sister has her boyfriend's baby? I feel like that's a story to be told. Are they going to stand side-by-side in a sisterhood or is Regina going to grow resentful overtime?" the 38-year-old told Entertainment Weekly.
In addition, she said that just like the fans, she too has so many questions that need to be answered when the show returns to the airwaves with its season 6.
"Will Baby Robin be magical? Will Zelena and Regina continue to have a healthy relationship now that they've reconciled? Or will Regina end up hating Zelena for being the mother to Robin's baby? I'm curious to see what's going to end up happening in that regard," the actress went on to say.
Between Regina and Robin, Parrilla thinks that she will continue to grieve for the latter's passing throughout the new season. In her previous interview with TVLine, she said that "mourning will continue" for her character. Making the situation worse for the former evil mayor of Storybrooke is the fact that she's a "very private person" and that just makes it hard for the grief to be released. "I feel like Regina is in a hopeless place right now, and we're going to see how she deals with those emotions in the season finale and also in Season 6," she told the media outlet. "Once Upon A Time" season 6 is slated to premiere this fall on ABC.
